At Let's Raise It (operated by Raise it LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company based in the United States), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our fundraising platform.

We are committed to transparency—just like our fee structure. You should always know exactly what happens with your data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with:

Stripe: For secure payment processing
Campaign organizers: Donor names and donation amounts for their campaigns
Service providers: Who help us operate (email, hosting, analytics)
Twilio: For SMS delivery and phone number verification, under a written data processing agreement.

SMS Messaging and TCPA Compliance

When you provide a mobile phone number to receive SMS from Let's Raise It (Raise it LLC), we ask for separate, express opt-in consent via an unchecked checkbox on the donation form, signup form, or other applicable opt-in surface. The disclosure text shown adjacent to that checkbox is the legally binding consent. We store a verbatim copy of that disclosure text along with the timestamp, IP address, and user-agent string at the moment you consented, retained for four (4) years (matching the TCPA federal statute of limitations).

Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply.

SMS service provider: We use Twilio Inc. for SMS delivery. Phone numbers are transmitted to Twilio under a written data processing agreement.

Message frequency: Varies based on the campaigns you opt in to. Typically 1–2 messages per week per campaign. Standard message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier.

Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to be removed from that campaign's SMS list. You may also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT.

Help: Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact privacy@letsraiseit.com.

Per-campaign consent: Opting in for one fundraising campaign does not opt you in to others. Each campaign requires its own express consent.

No third-party sharing for marketing: We do not share or sell mobile opt-in information, mobile phone numbers, or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only third party that handles your phone number is our SMS delivery vendor (Twilio), and only for the purpose of delivering the messages you opted in to receive.

Phone verification: When you create a Player account or claim a profile, we may send a one-time passcode (OTP) via SMS to verify ownership of the phone number. OTPs are sent through Twilio Verify, are not marketing, and the act of completing verification is treated as opt-in only to receive transactional account-related SMS (not marketing).

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure servers, and regular security audits. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
